Complicated Hudson County, NJ Project Requires Multiple Solutions

Challenge
Multiple circular glass atriums in this Jersey City, NJ apartment building created a rigging challenge. The building construction was hollow block and very porous brick which caused extensive water infiltration.
Solution
Erected a combination of outriggers and pipe scaffolding to address the building work without affecting the multiple circular atriums. Also installed new CMU units in the masonry piers, new decothane thru-wall flashing under the brick surrounding the atrium glass. Installed new copper thru-wall flashing at the parapet.
